This group of ladies are so professional and experienced, but also hilarious, real life human beings that I genuinely feel lucky to share energy with. We were so lucky they were recommended to us from multiple families in the area and we were able to work together.

I wish I could give 10 out of 5 stars! I cannot imagine my first pregnancy & birth without The Birth Collective PNW. From taking Doula Sarah's childbirth class, to our helpful & empowering in-person pre birth meeting, to being able to text the team's client # anytime a question came up, to the team's guidance on choosing a healthcare provider, to the photos of the birth that we will always cherish... my husband & I simply cannot imagine welcoming our daughter into the world without the support of this amazing team of doulas. When I decided I'd go in to have our midwife my break my water finally, Sarah met us there at the birth center promptly. Even though I had not spent a lot of time with her until then, she already felt like a friend. She was right there by my side but also gave enough distance so that my husband still felt really involved. I appreciated her suggestions for position changes and all the encouragement when I felt like I couldn't do it anymore. I have no idea how she manages to capture such beautiful pictures (most of the time I forgot she was taking pics!) while still being such an advocate and source of comfort. Forever grateful for her and TBC!

Doula Austin was my fairy doula god mother who showed up to my birth. She was everything I didn’t even know I needed, and I will forever be grateful to her. She never left my side, and supported me in all the right ways. I still remember her words in the hardest parts of my contractions always helping me recenter & focus my mind when I couldn’t do it for myself. There were times in my labor I had to make decisions for myself and it was really hard to do when I was not in my normal state of mind. She was able to meet me where I was mentally and communicate to me in that state of mind and help me come to a decision without ever making it for me. With her and my husbands support (my perfect duo) I was able to achieve my unmedicated vaginal birth that was very close to leading to an emergent c-section.
